IBFIM Personal Data Protection Notice

IBFIM (hereinafter referred to as “IBFIM”, “our”, “us” or “we”) respects personal data and is committed towards the privacy of individuals. This Personal Data Protection Notice (hereinafter referred to as “Notice”) is formulated to explain our manners of collecting and processing your personal information according to Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Please be informed that we may amend this Notice at any time without prior notice and any amendments will be informed via our official website or email.

IBFIM processes your personal data such as but not limited to your name, national identity card no. (NRIC no.), passport no., designation, company name, telephone no., address, email address and all other details that you have provided us via participation/subscription/purchase/contract with our training, advisory services, bookshoppe, business development, corporate communication, finance and administration and/or publication teams.

Your personal data is collected and further processed by IBFIM as required and permitted by law for the following purposes (“Purposes”):

    1. Providing IBFIM’s services which you have registered/subscribed/contracted for and announcement on changes or progress in such features;
    2. Announcing to you the new services, special offer and promotions;
    3. Inviting your participation in IBFIM’s training programs, events and activities;
    4. Updating the accuracy of IBFIM’s records;
    5. Administering and conducting examinations;
    6. Responding queries and complaints as well as maintaining communication to ensure customer satisfaction.

IBFIM is and will collect your personal data directly or indirectly from your employer when you or your employer send us completed registration forms, application and/or enquiry via online, email and/or physical hardcopies at public places or at our premise. Your personal data may also be collected from cookies through the use of our website.

All information requested for in the relevant forms is required to be provided by you unless stated otherwise. If you fail to supply the required information, we may not be able to process your request and/or to supply related services to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provided us is accurate, complete, up to date, clear and not misleading.
